Mechanism of Action of Carbinoxamine maleate Carbinoxamine maleate exerts it`s action by acting as an H1 receptor antagonist. It antagonizes most of the pharmacological actions of Histamine and reduces allergic symptoms. It also has anticholinergic properties and reduces secretions.
