Ibidroxil is used to eliminate infections resulting from bacterial infections. It treats urinary system problems such as urinary tract infections, and also treats throat and tonsil infections, in addition to infections of the skin, sinuses, and middle ear. It helps relieve infections of the teeth and gums, as well as infections of the kidneys, heart wall, and valves.
Ibidroxil is also used to treat typhoid fever and fever of unknown cause. It treats infections of the reproductive system in both sexes, in addition to postpartum fever.
