In some cases of kidney failure, water and salt accumulate in the body, leading to swelling of the extremities and weight gain. In cases of liver cirrhosis, fluid retention also occurs. Lafurex is used to treat high blood pressure, as it helps lower blood pressure by reducing the volume of blood in the blood vessels.
Lafurex can be used in emergency medical situations such as pulmonary edema. The drug can be used to treat poisoning resulting from consuming excessive amounts of some compounds, as it increases the excretion of toxins by increasing urine production.
