Haemokion is used to prevent and treat bleeding after using certain blood-thinning medications called anticoagulants. The drug treats children aged one year or older who suffer from liver problems or have low levels of vitamin K in the body due to illness. Haemokion is usually used to treat these children after consulting a hematologist.
Haemokion contains a substance called phytomenadione, which is a synthetic form of vitamin K1.
