Simvacor is usually prescribed for people who suffer from high levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood, as this condition can contribute to an increased risk of serious health problems such as blocked arteries, heart attacks and strokes. It is used to lower levels of bad cholesterol and increase levels of good cholesterol (HDL) in the blood, helping to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease in people who have a history of or are at risk of developing these conditions.
Simvacor is used to prevent health complications resulting from excess fats such as atherosclerosis and the resulting serious damage.
