Meclopram is a drug used to treat symptoms of slow stomach emptying or gastric paralysis in diabetic patients. It works by increasing the movements or contractions of the stomach and intestines.
Meclopram relieves symptoms of nausea, vomiting, heartburn, feeling full after eating, and loss of appetite.
Meclopram is also used to treat heartburn in patients with gastroesophageal reflux, which is irritation of the esophagus due to the reflux of stomach acid into the esophagus.
