Fusi is an effective antibiotic ointment against a number of bacteria, especially Staphylococcus aureus, which causes many skin infections. The ointment is used to treat superficial and mild skin infections such as impetigo, a common bacterial infection in children, as well as small boils and abscesses, infected wounds and scratches, hair follicle infections, and even some cases of inflammatory acne accompanied by bacterial infection. Fusi is also sometimes used after minor skin surgeries or after stitches are removed to prevent infection. It is also used in cases of eczema infected with bacteria, as it helps reduce inflammation and associated suppuration. It is important to apply
Fusi to clean, dry skin, and it is preferable to use it two to three times daily, or as directed by a doctor.
