Medicine Description
Importal has a laxative effect. It improves the functioning of the large intestine such that normal can be obtained to soft stool.
Importal used:
by blockage of the large intestine for example by hard stool. This may be inter alia a result of long in bed, surgery or pregnancy. Older people also often suffer from constipation;
as soft stool is desired, for example, in gap-shaped ulcer in the anal mucosa, and hemorrhoids;
at encephalopathy (a brain disease), due to liver failure.
