Glypressin

Glypressin is used to treat a number of liver and circulatory conditions. It works by reducing blood pressure in the portal veins of the liver. The drug is particularly useful in treating esophageal variceal bleeding, a serious condition often caused by portal hypertension, which is often associated with liver disease such as cirrhosis.
